Tradeships and traderoutes

To connect castles over vast distances you can establish traderoutes over sea.

The following items will be traded between the castles*

  • Potatoes
  • Cabbages
  • Grain
  • Iron
  • Pigs
  • Sheep
To establish a tradeline, do as follows:
Say you have two castles separated by a large body of water with pirates in it.

Build two gates next to the water. The gates have to be protected by knights.
You can build a pier, but this is not neccessary.

Build a Tradeship next to one of the gates. The starting point must be protected from pirates!

Tap on the water next to a tradeship to make it sail.

Keep sailing until you have reached the other castle. Don't worry about pirates on the way, they cannot destroy a tradeline. But they can destroy the start and end points.

A tradeline is established when you reach a Causeway, Bridge(acting as a pier) OR a gate.

The tradeship is marked green. Voilá! You have a tradeline.

* Items like well/churchmen/churches/buildings/people are NOT tradeable between castles and can only be used localy.
